Sean O’Rourke is an account executive with American Global, based in Ontario. With more than 13 years of experience across the insurance value chain, Sean leads insurance placement strategies with specialized expertise in builders’ risk, wrap-up liability, professional liability, and environmental liability coverages. In his role, he advises clients on all aspects of insurance program design and placement strategy while working closely with markets to secure optimal solutions. 

• Sean began his career as an underwriter at a national managing general agent, where he progressed into advanced roles and ultimately helped launch and lead the construction vertical with a focus on builders’ risk and wrap-up liability. 
• Prior to joining American Global, Sean spent more than five years at a national construction-focused brokerage serving as director of residential and infrastructure development, where he acted as the lead placement broker on major projects, including a $2.3 billion bridge replacement and a $1.2 billion master-planned high-rise development.
