André Costa serves as vice president of data, analytics, and automation at American Global, based in Toronto. In this role, André leads the firm’s data-driven strategy by overseeing advanced analytics, automation, and business intelligence initiatives while managing end-to-end data architecture and optimizing analytics workflows. He drives automation through technologies such as Power BI, Alteryx, and Python while integrating global data sources to support decision-making across the organization and improve operational efficiency.
- With more than 23 years of experience in data analytics, software architecture, and project management across global markets, André brings extensive technical and strategic expertise to his role.
- Prior to joining American Global, he held leadership positions at Aon in Canada and Brazil, where he managed national reporting and analytics teams, implemented transformative technologies, and integrated Canadian data systems with global platforms.
- Earlier in his career, André held senior roles at Porto Seguro Insurance, CPM Braxis (now Capgemini), and UBS Bank in Singapore, leading complex analytics and digital transformation initiatives across multiple regions.
