Kent Peters
President

Bio: Kent Peters is President of American Global’s Canadian operations. As a proven leader and former executive within the Construction and Industry specialty practice, Kent brings more than 34 years of experience in surety, performance security, and credit products. At American Global, he is responsible for expanding the firm’s North American presence and ensuring clients have access to the best markets, advice, and services throughout Canada. Prior to joining American Global, Kent served as Senior Vice President & National Director for Strategic Security at Aon Risk Services, the largest surety broker in Canada, where he developed innovative performance security products for Canada’s growing P3 sector and helped promote the use of surety bonds in place of letters of credit. Earlier in his career, Kent held a variety of roles at Export Development Canada (EDC).
Marc Drumm

Bio: Marc Drumm, CRM, is Senior Vice President of American Global Canada, leading the insurance team based in our Ontario office. With more than 40 years of experience as a Commercial Insurance Broker, Marc brings deep industry knowledge and valuable perspective to clients in Canada and abroad. While he has worked across many sectors, his primary focus has been the construction industry and risk-related matters including contract review, large projects, Public Private Partnerships (P3), and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) insurance. Having worked both within a construction firm and on the insurance broking side of transactions, Marc provides unique insight when advising clients and prospects. Prior to joining American Global, Marc served as Senior Vice President of the Construction and Infrastructure Practice at an international brokerage and consulting firm and previously worked as Insurance/Risk Manager at one of Canada’s largest general contractors. Throughout his career, Marc has advised on numerous major projects including multi-billion-dollar infrastructure and transportation developments as well as major hospital, healthcare, and courthouse facilities.

Tracy McLean

Bio: Tracy McLean serves as Senior Vice President of American Global’s Canadian surety team, based in our Ontario office. Bringing more than 30 years of experience in insurance and surety, Tracy is a strategic leader who helps clients navigate the complexities of U.S./Canada cross-border business transactions in a constantly evolving marketplace. She specializes in alternative business strategies and uses critical thinking and data analysis to help clients improve efficiencies, implement best practices, and address liability exposures. Tracy’s strong relationships with trade associations, along with her deep understanding of regulatory requirements and government structures, make her a trusted advisor to clients. Prior to joining American Global, Tracy held executive positions at several of Canada’s leading national and regional brokerage firms. She is a past president of the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) and the Toronto Insurance Conference and previously served as chair of the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada.

André Costa
Vice President- Data, Analytics, & Automation, Toronto, ON
Bio: André Costa serves as Vice President of Data, Analytics, and Automation at American Global, based in Toronto. In this role, André leads the firm’s data-driven strategy by overseeing advanced analytics, automation, and business intelligence initiatives while managing end-to-end data architecture and optimizing analytics workflows. He drives automation through technologies such as Power BI, Alteryx, and Python while integrating global data sources to support decision-making across the organization and improve operational efficiency. With more than 23 years of experience in data analytics, software architecture, and project management across global markets, André brings extensive technical and strategic expertise to his role. Prior to joining American Global, he held leadership positions at Aon in Canada and Brazil, where he managed national reporting and analytics teams, implemented transformative technologies, and integrated Canadian data systems with global platforms. Earlier in his career, André held senior roles at Porto Seguro Insurance, CPM Braxis (now Capgemini), and UBS Bank in Singapore, leading complex analytics and digital transformation initiatives across multiple regions.
Chris Greene
Senior Vice President- Innovation & Insights, Toronto, ON
Bio: Chris Greene is Vice President of Innovation & Insights at American Global Canada and is the architect behind C-RISQ, American Global’s proprietary construction risk platform. Based in Ontario, Chris leads technology, analytics, and automation strategies across all lines of business, helping contractors transform insurance from a reactive function into a proactive strategic advantage. With a background in both business systems and insurance, he specializes in developing real-time dashboards, streamlining SDI enrollment, and integrating data from platforms such as Epic, Origami, and Microsoft Power BI. Chris has also helped develop automated workflows that improve visibility for clients and brokers alike, resulting in smarter decision-making, cleaner data, and faster outcomes. In addition to his operational leadership, he serves as an internal advisor on the firm’s AI strategy, innovation marketing, and client technology enablement, and frequently speaks at industry events on risk intelligence, parametric solutions, and construction technology.
Shawn Henn
Vice President- Risk Engineering Calgary, AB
Bio: Shawn Henn serves as Vice President of Risk Engineering Services at American Global, helping expand the firm’s capabilities throughout Canada by supporting clients in developing and implementing comprehensive health, safety, and risk management strategies from the boardroom to the jobsite. With more than 25 years of experience in risk mitigation and loss prevention, Shawn has a proven track record of building programs that improve operational efficiency while maintaining strong commitments to safety and quality. As a former Red Seal sheet metal journeyman, he brings valuable firsthand industry knowledge and understands the practical challenges faced by construction clients. Combining hands-on experience with strong analytical skills, Shawn evaluates historical and predictive indicators to identify risks and implement innovative solutions. Prior to joining American Global, Shawn worked as a Health and Safety Consultant following a long tenure at Trotter and Morton Group of Companies, where he most recently served as Senior Corporate HSE, Risk & Loss Control Executive.

Joann Zhou
Account Manager

Bio: Joann Zhou is an Insurance Account Manager at American Global Canada known for her strong technical competence, client-first mindset, and commitment to service excellence. Recognized for her attention to detail and organizational strength, Joann supports clients by coordinating tailored insurance and risk management solutions that meet evolving business needs. In her role, she plays an important part in the coordination, accuracy, and delivery of insurance programs, collaborating closely with underwriters, contributing to client proposals, and helping manage specialty programs such as Master Builder’s Risk and Master Wrap-Up programs for one of Canada’s largest general contractors. Prior to joining American Global, Joann gained extensive experience managing a diverse portfolio of mid-market accounts across industries including construction, real estate, professional services, warehousing, and wholesale at BrokerLink, a subsidiary of Intact Financial Corporation.

Mallory Drumm

Bio: Mallory Drumm serves as an Account Associate at American Global based in the Oakville office. She brings more than 14 years of experience across multiple industries where she has held roles including Business Development Manager, Regional Manager, and Manager of Special Projects, building a strong background in client service, operations, and project coordination. In her current role, Mallory supports Account Managers and Account Executives by ensuring the seamless execution of key administrative and operational functions. Sean O’Rourke

Bio: Sean O’Rourke is an Account Executive with American Global Canada based in Ontario. With more than 13 years of experience across the insurance value chain, Sean leads insurance placement strategies with specialized expertise in Builders Risk, Wrap-Up Liability, Professional Liability, and Environmental Liability coverages. In his role, he advises clients on all aspects of insurance program design and placement strategy while working closely with markets to secure optimal solutions. Sean began his career as an underwriter at a national managing general agent where he progressed into advanced roles and ultimately helped launch and lead the construction vertical with a focus on Builders Risk and Wrap-Up Liability. Prior to joining American Global, Sean spent more than five years at a national construction-focused brokerage serving as Director of Residential and Infrastructure Development, where he acted as the lead placement broker on major projects including a $2.3 billion bridge replacement and a $1.2 billion master-planned high-rise development.
Deanna Brewer

Bio: Deanna Brewer is a Senior Vice President and Account Executive with American Global’s Canadian surety team, helping expand the firm’s presence and capabilities throughout Western Canada. With more than 25 years of experience in construction surety, Deanna has supported complex multi-billion-dollar accounts for some of North America’s largest contractors. Her extensive industry knowledge and strong communication skills enable her to help clients evaluate their surety needs and develop effective programs and strategies to meet or exceed their objectives. Deanna has worked on a wide range of project structures including JV, P3, AFP, Alliance/IPD, and multi- or co-surety programs, and has also provided extensive surety consultation to public and provincial sector organizations in Canada. She regularly assists clients with reviewing construction RFPs, tenders, and contract structures such as Design-Build, CM@Risk, Lump Sum, and P3 delivery models. Prior to joining American Global Canada, Deanna spent more than 20 years developing her career at a large national brokerage before briefly serving as Senior Vice President at another national brokerage.

Bio: Ante Petricevic is a Senior Vice President and Senior Professional Liability Broker at American Global based in Calgary. As a key member of the firm’s broking team, Ante helps support insurance operations throughout North America and is widely recognized for his expertise in Construction Professional Liability (CPrL). With more than two decades of industry experience, he has developed a strong reputation for delivering effective risk and insurance solutions for complex construction projects. Ante’s deep technical knowledge and strong market relationships allow him to guide clients through every stage of the insurance process including contract assessment, policy procurement, and claims advisory. Prior to joining American Global, Ante spent the majority of his career working at several of the world’s largest insurance brokerages where he advanced into leadership roles, most recently serving as Managing Director of the Construction & Infrastructure Professional Liability practice. Throughout his career he has worked closely with some of the world’s leading construction firms and contributed to the successful execution of major infrastructure and building projects across North America.

Ann Donald

Bio: Ann Donald serves as Assistant Vice President and Account Executive at American Global Canada and brings more than 40 years of experience focused on construction-related risks. Throughout her career, Ann has specialized in surety and insurance solutions for contractors, owners, and project stakeholders while also gaining experience underwriting major public infrastructure and private development projects. Her expertise includes developing creative surety solutions for developers and supporting clients through complex insurance and risk management challenges. In addition to her client advisory work, Ann contributes to internal and client education by developing materials that help improve understanding of insurance, surety, risk management, and loss control topics. Over the course of her career she has served on numerous construction-related boards including the Canadian Construction Association (CCA), BILD Calgary, BILD Alberta, and the Calgary Industrial Contractors Association (CICBA). Her educational materials have also been used as resource content by institutions including the University of Calgary, the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), the Insurance Institute of Southern Alberta, and the Alberta Insurance Council.

Mo Olajide

Bio: Motunrayo (Mo) Olajide is an Account Manager with American Global Canada and an experienced surety professional known for her responsiveness, attention to detail, and client-focused approach. In her role, Mo supports contractors and clients by reviewing tender documents and RFPs, preparing bond applications and submissions to surety markets, and overseeing the issuance of bid bonds, performance bonds, and other surety instruments. She also manages client records, supports invoicing and premium collection, and assists clients in navigating bonding processes from start to finish. Prior to joining American Global, Mo worked as a Surety Associate Account Executive at Aon, one of the world’s largest brokerage firms, where she developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills while working with a variety of industry software systems. Known for fostering strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders, Mo is committed to delivering efficient and solutions-driven service.

Bio: Elias Sawan is an attorney and Senior Vice President of American Global Canada, helping lead the firm’s expansion in the province of Québec. With a background in engineering, construction contracts, and claims management, Elias brings a unique combination of legal and technical expertise to clients across the construction and infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining American Global, he served as Regional Director for Eastern Canada within the legal department of a leading global engineering and consulting firm where he focused on contract drafting, negotiation, and risk analysis for both public and private sector clients across infrastructure, mining, renewable energy, and oil and gas projects. Throughout his career Elias has worked closely with project stakeholders to identify and mitigate risk from the request for proposal stage through final project acceptance. He has also managed multimillion-dollar claims and successfully resolved disputes through negotiation and alternative dispute resolution. Fluent in French, English, and Arabic, Elias provides valuable support to clients operating across Canada.
Benjamin O’Donnell

He works closely with contractors and stakeholders to develop tailored surety solutions that support both domestic and international operations. With more than a decade of experience on the underwriting side working with both local and international carriers, Benjamin brings strong technical expertise and market insight to his role. Prior to joining American Global, he led the Quebec surety practice at a large international brokerage, advising on complex commercial and contract surety programs, and has also developed significant experience structuring integrated surety and financial solutions to support complex client placements. Benjamin is widely recognized for his expertise in international contract surety and large commercial surety and is known for delivering innovative, multi-faceted solutions for sophisticated clients. He is actively involved in the industry and broader construction community through organizations including the Surety Association of Canada, where he serves as President of the Events Committee in Quebec, as well as CEGQ, ACRGTQ, and the Quebec Infrastructure Council, and is a frequent speaker at industry panels and forums focused on surety, risk, and construction markets.
